The Nanni N16.1200 CR3 is a high-performance 4-stroke diesel inboard engine based on a Scania engine platform, featuring an 8-cylinder V configuration with 16.4-litre displacement producing 1200 CV (882 kW). It incorporates Extra High Pressure Injection (XPI), twin turbocharging with air-to-seawater aftercooling, and closed cooling with heat exchanger. The engine is HVO compliant, meets NRMM 97/68/EC and IMO Tier II emission standards, and supports shaft line, water jet, and surface drive transmissions.
