The Nanni N16.1000 CR3 is a high-performance marine inboard diesel engine based on a Scania engine platform, featuring an 8-cylinder V-configuration with 16.4-litre displacement producing 1000 CV (736 kW). It uses Extra High Pressure Injection (XPI) fuel system, twin turbocharging with air-to-seawater aftercooler, and closed cooling with heat exchanger. The engine is HVO compliant, meets US Tier 3 and RCD2 emissions standards, and is compatible with shaft line, water jet, and surface drive transmissions.
