The Yanmar 4JH57 is a four-cylinder, naturally aspirated marine diesel from Yanmar's JH common rail series, rated 41.9 kW (57 mhp) at 3000 rpm at the crankshaft (40.2 kW / 54.7 mhp at the propeller shaft) from 2.190 L (88 x 90 mm bore x stroke). It uses direct injection with an electronically controlled Bosch common-rail system (up to 160 MPa), freshwater cooling via heat exchanger, a 12V 1.4 kW starter and a 12V 125A alternator. It is offered with KM35P, KM35A2, KM4A1, ZF25, ZF25A or ZF30M marine gears, the SD60-5 saildrive, or bobtail, and is certified to RCD 2, BSO II and EPA Tier 3. Dry weight 220 kg (bobtail), 235 kg with KM35P.
