The Yanmar 4JH4-TE is a four-cylinder, turbocharged marine diesel from Yanmar's JH series, rated 55.2 kW (75 mhp) at 3200 rpm at the crankshaft from 1.995 L (84 x 90 mm bore x stroke). It uses mechanical direct injection, freshwater cooling via heat exchanger and a 12V 1.4 kW starter. It is certified to RCD, EPA Tier 2, BSO II and SOLAS. Dry weight 207 kg without gear; dimensions given with KM4A2 marine gear. Succeeded by the common rail 4JH80.
