The Yanmar SD60-5 is the SD60 saildrive variant for the JH common rail 3JH40, 4JH45 and 4JH57 engines, with a mechanical multiple friction disc clutch and oil-bath lubrication (2.8 L standard, 3.0 L with the 75 mm extended leg). Available in 2.23:1 or 2.49:1 reduction (same ahead and astern). Propeller rotation is selectable (counterclockwise or clockwise viewed from stern) by the shift cable setup. Dry weight 43.6 kg (48.2 kg extended leg). Oil can be changed from inside the boat. Dual rubber diaphragm hull seal with water ingress sensor; diaphragms must be replaced every 7 years.
