The Yanmar SD50 is a saildrive for the 3JH4CE, 3JH5CE, 4JH4ACE and 4JH5CE engines, with a cone clutch, 2.32:1 reduction ahead and astern and oil-bath lubrication (2.2 L standard; 2.35 L with 58 mm extension, 2.45 L with 100 mm extension). Propeller rotation counterclockwise or clockwise viewed from stern. Dry weight 39 kg. Uses QuickSilver High Performance Gear Oil. Cone clutch: inspect/replace or lap every 500 hours and replace every 2000 hours (dealer). Rubber diaphragm hull seal with seal sensor. Superseded by the SD60.
